Baked squash slices

by Linda
(Wayland, MI)

Yellow squash ..sliced 1/4 inch
Use smaller size squash around 6 inches Zucchini is good also

Lawry's season salt or other

Parmesan/Romano cheese (the dried kind)

There are really no measurements for this recipe.

Heat oven to 400

Spray as many pans as you have squash for

spread squash slices on pan close together and sprinkle each with Lawry's season salt and then cover each slice with the cheese. Spay all pieces on top with spray oil. (Olive oil spray is really good)

Bake for 20 minutes or longer until slices are bubbly and brown on edges. Let cool on pan for about 3-4 minutes and serve.

These are so good that you can't stop eating them!

I enjoyed them, but kids did not

They were kind of flimsy in the middle, so even covered in cheese, my 2 little kids were turned off. Good thing I only used 1 small yellow squash. I ended up eating the whole thing, pretty tasty to me.
