Best Fried Squash

  • Squash
  • Vegetable oil
  • Plain Flour
  • Buttermilk

Wash and dry squash. Cut squash about 1/4 in thick. Dredge in plain flour. Drop into a bowl of buttermilk until coated. Dredge in flour again. Cook in oil 325-350 degrees. Cook and turn until they float and just are browning .
Reheats well on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees if you have any leftovers.
